Treasures of India Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Mumbai

You are met on arrival and escorted to your pre booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 02: Mumbai/Aurangabad

Morning visit the Elephanta Caves. Afternoon a half-day tour of Mumbai City. Evening flight to Aurangabad. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel.

Day 03: In Aurangabad

Embark on a full day tour of the Ajanta Caves (around 100 km). Of the thirty monuments at Ajanta, four caves No 9,10,26 and 29 are sanctuaries or Chaitya containing a Stupa at the centre of their apses. The rest are monastic residences or Viharas. An Indian poet Kalidasa describes these caves as the gem set of jewellery, rich furniture, imposing architecture, natural scenery and fleeting expressions on the faces.

Day 04: Aurangabad/Mumbai

Morning half-day tour of Ellora Caves (7th - 10th century AD). The magnificent group of rock temples of Ellora are a part of world heritage monuments. Ellora group of temples represents the art and sculptures of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, the three dominant religions of India. Rest of the day is at leisure. Evening flight to Mumbai. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel.

Day 05: Mumbai/Udaipur

Morning flight to Udaipur. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel. Afternoon a half-day tour of Udaipur City. Evening enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola.

Day 06: Udaipur/Jodhpur

Morning drive to Jodhpur en route visiting Ranakpur. Drive on and check into hotel. Later a half-day tour of Jodhpur City.

Day 07: Jodhpur/Jaipur

Morning half-day Jeep Safari to view the nearby villages. Rest of the day is at leisure. Evening flight to Jaipur. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel.

Day 08: In Jaipur

Morning visit the Amber Fort with Elephanta ride ride is situated in Amber, the former capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs on a hillside overlooking Maotha lake, 11 km from Jaipur on the Delhi - Jaipur road. Its construction was started by Raja Man Singh I, army commander of Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1592 and was completed by Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh, over a period of about two centuries. It is a classic fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, built in red sandstone and white marble. Afternoon a half-day tour of Jaipur City.

Day 09: Jaipur/Bharatpur /Agra

Morning drive to Agra en route halting first to visit the Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and then Fatehpur Sikri. Continue to Agra and check into hotel.

Day 10: In Agra

Morning a half-day tour of Agra City. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 11: Agra/Jhansi Drive Jhansi/Orchha/Khajuraho

Morning board train to Jhansi. On arrival drive to Khajuraho en route visiting Orchha. Drive on and check into your hotel. Later a half-day visit to the famous Khajuraho Temples.

Day 12: Khajuraho/Varanasi

Afternoon flight to Varanasi. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel. Later visit Sarnath .

Day 13: Varanasi/Delhi

Early morning Boat Cruise on River Ganges. Later a half-day tour of Varanasi City. Afternoon flight to Delhi. On arrival you are met and escorted to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 14: In Delhi

Morning embark on a full day tour of Old & New Delhi. Evening witness a Sound & Light Show at the Red Fort.

Day 15: Depart Delhi

Today you are transferred to the airport to board your flight for onward journey
